The meeting host (or translation initiator) invites the Lingofy Bot to join the meeting and specifies the spoken language(s) expected during the session. Once granted recording permission, Lingofy captures the live audio, performs speech recognition, and provides real-time multilingual translation. Participants can then select their preferred language to view translated subtitles live.

The AI Interpreter is a virtual interpreter provided by Lingofy. When invited into the meeting with a designated language pair (e.g., Chinese and English), the AI Interpreter listens and automatically performs speech translation—speaking English when it hears Chinese, and vice versa. This offers a more immersive, voice-based interpretation experience, allowing participants to follow the conversation without reading subtitles.

Anyone with access to the meeting link can initiate a translation session. However, the meeting host must approve the Lingofy Bot’s entry and grant it recording permission for the service to function.

Meeting participants can view translations directly in the Zoom App side panel via prompts from the Lingofy Bot. Non-participants can access the real-time subtitle page through a link provided by the translation initiator.

Registered Lingofy users who attended the meeting can view the session records on their dashboard. Others can only access the records if they receive a shared link from the translation initiator.

For example, if you top up $100 for 600 credits and enable auto-renewal, Lingofy will automatically charge your account $100 again once your credits run out, and recharge another 600 credits. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time.
